Too often, we think we have an understanding of slavery and the foundation of the United States, but slavery and slave societies are glossed over with little depth or understanding. These structured conversations will delve into some of the history that goes overlooked and lay a foundation for a richer appreciation of Black History.

Resistance & Resilience is a continuation of the conversation from Africa to America. It is a deeper conversation about the Middle Passage, Transatlantic Slave Trade and the ways the African peoples resisted enslavement from its beginning, through the 19th century.
